FIVE-piece Brooklyn indie pop band Lucius have shared another brand new track called ‘Madness’ from their upcoming second album Good Grief, following the release of the lead single ‘Born Again Teen’.
‘Madness’ has the sublime yoked vocal harmonies of Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, which hit a peak during its potent chorus that includes a lavishing string section, accompanying background drum machine and an eventual key change. It leaves us exuberant for the album release, and what other elevated pop anthems are left to knock us off our stride aside from the two releases already.
Produced by Shawn Everett of Weezer and Alabama Shakes fame, Good Grief is the hugely anticipated follow-up to their debut album Wildewoman to be released on the 11th March 2016 on Play It Again Sam.
The album will be released with a lump of tour dates in Europe and North America to promote the album, including a date at Glasgow Art School on 8th April, and London’s KOKO on 11th April.
