SIX
records from the late David Bowie are set for inclusion in the UK charts including an expected number one slot for his final album Blackstar.

Following the legendary artist’s untimely demise at the age of 69, records such as The Next Day, best of compilations Nothing Has Changed and Best Of Bowie have all attained positions on the top 100 alongside seminal output such as The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory and Aladdin Sane.

Not only is Bowie set for resounding chart success in the UK, early reports have suggested that he’s also on track for his first ever US number one album with Blackstar.

This news makes the recent declaration of Rough Trade; the prominent record outlet that plan to donate all of the profits from Bowie albums to Cancer Research UK, all the more admirable.

The final chart positions will be announced on Friday 15th January.
